The good news is that no windows have disappeared from my second display since installing this version, even with separate desktops enabled. Hopefully this does not change :)

Hi,

I tried 278rc2 and find I can not move X windows higher on my screen than about
90 pixels from the menu bar. See attached screenshot showing 3 Terminal windows
as close to the menu bar as I can drag them. It's like there's an invisible
barrier there!

It also took a LONG time to install - spent over 10 minutes at the final step
with estimated time 1 minute remaining.

No other issues to report so far.

Regards, Tim

Hey everyone,

I'd like to announce that the second release candidate of XQuartz 2.7.8 is
available. The main changes since the first release candidate are:

* mesa has been updated to version 11.0.3
* freetype has been updated to version 2.6.1
* multiple bug fixes from X.org packages
* Post-install script edits the correct ssh config locations on El Capitan
* Post-install script executes x11-select directly on El Capitan

Please test it out and report back any issues:

Thanks,
