I experience the exact same window moving problem with the baudline X11 app when I close the lid on my Mac Book Pro. Sometimes a window moves to a different location on the screen. Sometimes a window(s) moves off-screen and become inaccessible. I have not discovered a way to bring back a window once it has moved off-screen. My workable solution is to close and quit all X11 apps prior to sleeping my Mac.
Some important points: * The window moving after a sleep happens most of the time but not all of time * This only started happening when I upgraded to El Capitan * This problem isn't isolated to xterm since it also happens when I run the baudline X11 app On Wed, Jul 27, 2016 at 11:42 AM, Michael Jinks <[email protected]> wrote: > On Tue, Jul 26, 2016 at 9:57 AM, Michael Jinks <[email protected]> > wrote: > > On Tue, Jul 26, 2016 at 9:31 AM, Michael Jinks <[email protected]> > wrote: > >> > >> I think my next mission is to bring up all those instances again, > >> minimize them all, repeat the dance I did by mistake earlier, and see > >> what that does. > > > > Well...
