Hi, After successful installation of latest 2.7.11 XQuartz and logout - tried shutdown as well. Lunched a terminal and logon using command: ssh -Y remotehost this was successful. Then started on remote machine the application that i need to be displayed on my Mac but it was never displayed and i did not get any error message as well.
output of DISPLAY on local machine: mcc022284:~ szt$ echo $DISPLAY /private/tmp/com.apple.launchd.uC42OSN11J/org.macosforge.xquartz:0 output of DISPLAY on remote machine: root@remote_machine:~# echo $DISPLAY localhost:10.0 XQuartz is started on my MAC: mcc022284:~ szt$ launchctl list | grep xquartz 483 0 org.macosforge.xquartz.X11.14380 490 0 org.macosforge.xquartz.startx Please help sorting out the reason for this.
