I had this problem with 10.10 as well, and discovered the Keyboard Shortcuts had the D key mapped to an action. I disabled that action (Hide all normal windows...), and everything was fine after that. Are there instructions for installing x2go under Maverick? I have had a world of problems with freenx, and would like to change over.
