http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=6463 Severe Performance problems (Memory + Time taken) compared to SAXON ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2002-02-15 15:09 ------- OK, I _was_ fooling myself... JProbe runs this test slowly enough that I was looking at the wrong point in the process. (Overnight run and it still hasn't gotten past hsqldb... though it's apparently swapping itself to death at this point.) So you can probably ignore most of what I've said up to this point... except the hunch about RTFs in variables probably consuming most of the persistant storage. I'm checking that now. I don't think that's sufficient by itself to explain the peformance, though.
