Hi I had a very basic question. I am using Xalan sample program DOM2DOM to transform XMl to another XML and serialize it. My XML doc does not have encoding attribute nor does my XSLT. But the result document has encoding="UTF-8".
Is it possible to tell Xalan transformer or serializer to omit writing encoding attribute. This si really important to me. I would appreciate whatever help ayone can give me in this regards.
