Hey Liz,
I'm curious what you mean by the BBB couldn't cope when building the
AX.25 kernel modules. It should work though I wouldn't recommend to
compile things to the local NAND storage and I've had issues with some
automake enabled packages working across NFS mounts. Instead of
building a cross-compiler tool chain, why not just attach a USB SSD/HDD
and compile locally? Faster on the short term at least!
