Use another frequency - let odd vehicles use freq A and even vehicles use freq B. The xastir station has a receiver/TNC on each frequency.

With frequent updates, timeslotting is your friend.

Now that I think about it, if you're updating every few seconds there may be a bit of latency in xastir's display processing.
