Why do I receive 3 mails every time I get mails form Xastir ?.

I got Xastir installed with the xastir that follows Kubuntu 7.04b.
Will I benefit anything installing per Your instruction ?. Better maps or
so ?.
I don't really know --- I never use pre-packaged versions of xastir, so I
have no idea what package has a recent version and what is ancient.
