This addon brings up a pop up with 30 seconds to go (configurable) which lets you watch straight away or cancel the auto play. If left alone it will play the next episode (this can also be configured to not play if left alone). When using UPnP, the watched/resume status for TV shows/episodes doesn't update on the "client" Kodi instance until Kodi is restarted. Haven't tried it yet on what it exactly does.
