Black Hawk Ski Club just west of Middleton, but you have to be a member. The Club volunteers (Dan Osborn and Peter Barbee) packed down the trail for skate skiing through the night. You must be a member to ski. $50 a year for non tow membership. See their Web page for more detail. Think about it for next year.  They also have nordic combined and next year a biathlon venue.
