HI, Here is the procedure of using the SLES 11 SDK:
1. copycds /path/to/the/sdk/isoimage, the sdk images will be copied
to /install/sles11.x/arch/sdk1/
2. Set the node to use
template /opt/xcat/share/xcat/install/sles/compute.sdk.sles11.tmpl
3. nodeset <node_name> install
4. In the autoyast template file /install/autoinst/<node_name>, you will
see something like this:

5. If the installation still fails, when the node is up and running, could
you run zypper on the compute node to try to install the packages to see
what is going wrong?

Hello,
I tried it with original
template /opt/xcat/share/xcat/install/sles/compute.sdk.sles11.tmpl without
any modification. But it is still not working.
How we must provide the sdk. Maybe my copycds was wrong.

The autoyast template
file /opt/xcat/share/xcat/install/sles/compute.sdk.sles11.tmpl is the
tested version that integrates the SDK image, you can use this template
file or refer to this template file.

SLES11SP1 with
SDK
Hello,
I am using xCat 2.7 to install SLES11SP1. This works well. But now I want
to integrate the SDK.
I enhanced my compute.tmpl (see below), the compute.pkglist is unchanged.
During a new rinstall I get the Error: " The package resolver run failed.
Please check your software section in the autoyast profile". After
finishing the installation the repository is added to the installation
(zypper sl), but no further packages are installed.
What's wrong, who can help?
