Hi Jack,

Try the 2 RPMS in the following URL
http://xcat.ocf.co.uk/devel/xCAT-ubuntu-0.2/RPMS/

i.e. debootstrap and dpkg, and then try doing the genimage.

My testing that I did about a year ago allowed me to do it from a rhel
based machine. Let me know how you get on
