I'm afraid it was before 2.7.x... Would it be a problem?
Currently (on 2.8.5) outputs are:

lsdef bc2a1
Object name: bc2a1
    groups=mm,all
    hwtype=mm
    id=0
    mgt=blade
    mpa=bc2a1
    nodetype=mp
    postbootscripts=otherpkgs
    postscripts=syslog,remoteshell,syncfiles

lsdef bc2a2
Object name: bc2a2
    groups=mm,all
    hwtype=mm
    id=0
    mgt=blade
    mpa=bc2a2
    nodetype=mp
    postbootscripts=otherpkgs
    postscripts=syslog,remoteshell,syncfiles

passwd:
....
"blade","adminuser","<one-password>",,,,
....

mpa:
...
"bc2a2","adminuser","<another-password>",,,,,
....

Thanks for looking into this.
Regards,
Michael
