I'm trying to follow the instructions on
http://sourceforge.net/p/xcat/wiki/Using_Clone_to_Deploy_Server/
to generate a custom diskless boot image from a more generic one. Original is
barebones CentOS 6.5.
Added enough rpms to install GPFS and Mellanox OFED, then deleted the extras
like kernel-devel and rpm-build
that I didn't need to have cluttering up the image. I got to the "final" step,
which failed:
[root@mgt1 ~]# imgcapture node855 -t sysclone -o centos6.5-x86_64-netboot-lenovo
Checking if systemimager packages are installed on mgt1.
Checking if systemimager packages are installed on node855.
Preparing osimage centos6.5-x86_64-netboot-lenovo on node855.
Error: export PERL5LIB=/usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/;LANG=C si_prepareclient
--server mgt1 --no-uyok --yes failed on the node855.
Error: Can not prepare Golden Client on node855.

There are no details why si_prepareclient failed, perhaps I deleted one too
many rpms...
Any suggestions?

Thanks,
