The change looks good. We did see the issue that cpio has problem to handle the
case that the disk space for /install is running in a nfs server.

Oh, yeah, I rememeber having trouble with cpio, but because of a large
sparse /var/log/lastlog

Hm, that reminds me … did the CentOS/RH7 squashfs+overlayfs support
that I wrote about on this list end of June last year, in

, find its way into xCAT yet? A trivial little patch and so far I did
not see issues with this on our system.
