Hello,
Concerning your above question:
1. When printing from *.ps file using GV the line and footer is printed
correctly but not at the very bottom, exactly 38mm above the lower edge
of the A4 paper. At the top of the page there is only a horizontal line
paralel to the top edge of the paper and a text line :Reply to mail etc.
2. When printing directly from XCmail, the footer and footer-line is
only in its vertical half printed (half visible); its placement is in
the same distance from the edge as in first example.
Suma sumarum the problem exist. There is a hope that Dear Jurgen will
somehow help to solve it. Or I myself experimenting farther will
suddenly discover the hidden cause :-) I do not believe it happens.
