Hello, J�rgen, I did see those complications, but I was looking at SMTP mode ...as you comment. It was a patch for how I used xcmail, if you like. (I did not used to use it's SMTP). I put that second point in for A.N.OTHER xcmail user who may have better c than me, and time heavy in their hands.
Otherwise, as you imply, it's rather a major re-write of that section of code. Like the snow motif on CVS page - where does the code come from? BTW Not really sure what your new project is about. I mean, I read the docs. But what is the angle? This is not sent via xc-mail's SMTP, because waitrose.com put an IP lock onto their server last week, so can no longer relay emails, even though I have account, unless I dial into *their* modems - so this sent via sendmail. This problem is increasing common problem in the UK. Tiscali offer very cheap dial-in service in UK, which I signed up to waitrose.com is not a telecon service. Perhaps will have to get a relay account on my company's server. Regards, David Pilgram
