Hello, Jrgen,

I did see those complications, but I was looking at SMTP mode ...as you
comment. It was a patch for how I used xcmail, if you like. (I did not
used to use it's SMTP). I put that second point in for A.N.OTHER xcmail user
who may have better c than me, and time heavy in their hands.

Otherwise, as you imply, it's rather a major re-write of that section of
code.

Like the snow motif on CVS page - where does the code come from?

BTW Not really sure what your new project is about. I mean, I read the
docs. But what is the angle?

This is not sent via xc-mail's SMTP, because waitrose.com put an IP lock
onto their server last week, so can no longer relay emails, even though I
have account, unless I dial into *their* modems - so this sent via sendmail.
This problem is increasing common problem in the UK.

Tiscali offer very cheap dial-in service in UK, which I signed up to
waitrose.com is not a telecon service. Perhaps will have to get a relay
account on my company's server.

Regards,

David Pilgram
