Upgrading the OS is definitely a change to the build process! If The Mgmt. think it’s OK to upgrade the OS without also upgrading the compiler to a version that's compatible with that OS, then they’re operating in terra incognita and should expect problems. Put another way, if they want to keep things stable they should set up a build machine (or a VM) with OS X 10.6 and Xcode 3, and then never upgrade them. —Jens
