Maybe. But when you work on agile development in teams, there is so much back and forth that those types of logs don't work. They work great on fully distributed individual developers. Woops. I said SVN, I meant CSV - Do you remember how crap CVS Was :-) There wasn't a way to Hack it to allow you to patch as someone else, not counting all the other problems. Man... that is bringing me back nightmares, thank goodness I don't use CVS any more. Your opinion is that he has not contributed. My opinion is that you are not in a position to know, you were not there. Sorry, but it is a fact, you were not there, I was, I know how much was done. Lets not bash the developers of the past. I am sure you can find my code in there that you absolutely hate, and wondered what I was smoking when I wrote it (I know I often wonder that about my own code) :-) But we do our best at the time, and there is no way to log that. And lets face it, this talk has moved from a way of getting support from the manufacturer, to a subjective bashing of their past quality / quantity of work... lets keep to the facts (that you know), because what I want, is nice support from the manufacturers, not a reason for them to give up or not to participate.
