Moin Guys, 

thank you for all the help with the connection. Unfortunately, my trusty old 
HP310 went up in smoke today, probably due to a short circuit in a faulty cable 
(bent too hard). It does get considerably hot when running and no longer 
launches programs from the SD card properly and the display is all flickers and 
dark stripes while the processor or memory is at work during startup, only 
brightens up after a while when nothing is processed. 

Seems I need to find a new toy. :o/
