I agree that we could add the airspace class G to XCSoar, disabled by 
default though because this is usually not needed at all...
In this particular case however I would strongly suggest writing an 
email to whoever publishes the UK AIP because class G for a military 
airspace is simply wrong. That is what Restricted and/or Danger 
airspaces are for...

IMHO the defaults should depend on whether the airspace class needs ATC 
clearance or not... In case of the class E, no ATC clearance is needed 
and so we shouldn't warn of that class by default.
Once again I would suggest contacting the provider of that AIP and tell 
him to use the right airspace classes in the open air file...
