Hi All

I managed to get my IOIO card setup working just in time for our local
regional competition/flying week. Lots of fun :-)

I have got both my Borgelt B500 and Flarm connected through the IOIO to
XCSoar running on my Dell Streak 5. I found 2 problems during the week:

The IOIO seems to freeze up after running for 20 minutes to an hour. I
suddenly get errors reading the IOIO port and no GPS data. Power cycling
the IOIO / Flarm / Borgelt (which all run off the same switch) fixed it
- at the inconvenience of having all that stuff rebooted in flight.
Later I tried unplugging the USB cable from the Streak and plugging it
in again - not too easy in flight, that also cleared the problem. But
inevitably it recurred after a while.

Later in the week If I de-configured the Flarm and ran just the Borgelt
communicating via the IOIO. This is much more stable. The problem
occurred maybe once in a flight and often not at all.

If I tried one flight with de-configured Borgelt and just Flarm but this
also seemed unstable. But I missed the real time wind speed updates I
get via the Borgelt too much to test this one for too long!

The other issue, when the Flarm was working and when flying in proximity
with other Flarm equipped gliders, I did no see anything Flarm related
information on the display. I have switched on all of the "Flarm" stuff
I could find in the setup menu's but maybe I need to enable a specific
info box or setup something special to see Flarm data? Or maybe there is
another issue?

Are there know issues with this, or should I raise a ticket?

Thanks Ian
