One drawback to that method is that the SF Tracker browse list doesn't show the Resolved field, so you can't tell which ones have/haven't been fixed yet without opening them up. Alternatively, given that the reason for leaving them open is to have a handy list of what needs testing before release, maybe we could use the Group field for that instead somehow? e.g. filter on Status: Closed & Group: 1.1 to show everything that's been added into the 1.1 release, which needs testing. That would need us to use the Group field as the 'fixed in' version rather than the 'found in' version, though.
