One thing that I could get some advice on is how to make a generic and
lightweight "registry" that such dynamic tasks can use to look up classes.
I'll probably model it somewhat after the XMLCatalog which is a datatype
that Ant 1.5 now has which handles DTD/Schema local resolution and such.
Does a new datatype seem like a reasonable way to work this?
You have implemented some type of XML file lookup mechanism, correct? That
file is shipped in xdoclet.jar? And can be overridden to plug in new
subtasks dynamically? If thats the case, then you could extend whatever
datatype I create to add the XML file capability. I'm just thinking
out-loud.... since the next step is to provide some tasks with the plug-in
capability.
