XDoclet 1.x does not uses velocity or any other template language

I realise that, but I don't want to do something that is only useful for some weeks.

Hm, xdoclet 1.x won't be around for just some weeks. I would bet that many people will still be using xdoclet 1.x for at least a year.

I'm interested in 2.0, but let me ask how are the plain?
I also don't want to do something that is un useable until the next weeks.
;-)

xdoclet2 is still a moving target, one that even most xdoclet developers didn't catch yet. It seems that Aslak and Andrew are the only one actively developing it now. We'll focus on xdoclet2 after we release 1.2, and there is no plan on release dates for xdoclet2 yet.

I already had done this. I only take a look in the plugins so far. Is there
any status page? I notice you are using jira (a good decision by the way)
something there available?
Is there a developer documentation for 2.0 ?

Only what's available on CVS. Not very much. Also, search our mail archives, you could find something of interest.

Is it possible to use 2.0 now?

Not for real.
