It was a bug. I will commit fix in a few minutes.
With it will be possible to do something like this

maven.xdoclet.0.hibernate.force=true
maven.xdoclet.0.hibernate.packageregex=^.*$
maven.xdoclet.0.hibernate.packagereplace=mypackage

Ok, I am glad to know that =) .... one question regarding this .... I would like to know if there are something like force="false" in order to generate the xml just for those files that have been modified.

What I mean is that when you use packageregex="packA" packagereplace="packB",
Xdoclet (or the plugin, dont know which one of the two) does not notice that the xml exists
(because the files are in another folder).

In Xdoclet 1.2 this feature works fine .. am I doing something wrong??

Thanks ...

Jos Piersanti.

That has worked, I have especified in the component
element of the ant script packageregex="packA"
packagereplace="packB" and it generates the files
replacing the part of the package tree "packA" for
"packB"

component

classname="org.xdoclet.plugin.hibernate.HibernateMappingPlugin"

                      destdir="${directorio}"
version="3.0"
                      packageregex=" packA "
packagereplace="packB"/>

is this valid??? It work but now I am not sure if it
is intended to do this ....

I verfified with generama sources. This is the way it supposed to work.
