Dear all, I would like to ask about the how to boot the Pandaboard after compiling and building the kernel on host machine.
Now I have on my host machine build and root directories . The build directory has uImage(arch/arm/boot) . The root directory has usr and dev directories. I moved the usr and dev directories to sdcard . The SD contains the ubuntu prebuilt binaries to boot ubuntu on pandaboard. Now do i need to remove that ubuntu binaries (that were running previously on board) and copy the uImage from build directory (arch/arm /boot) or is it enough to move usr and dev directories to sd filesystem and boot the board as previously with(old ubuntu kernel itself). Thanks Suresh balijepalli Rosenehim,Baveria.
