You can download the whole binary + modified sources of Xerces 1.2.0 from
http://cern.ch/xdaq
Follow the link software. It is not the most recent version, I know, but
we work with it since last autumn and
didn't have any problems. That's why we froze our software for this
version of Xerces.
If you're interested in the most recent version, I can give you some
instructions what to modify. Essentially
the crucial point is the Unicode stuff. VxWorks doesn't have it and we
implemented our own functions
to accomplish the task. We did not want to port any full blown unicode
library, since we have some
memory restrictions. Also, the VxWorks system doesn't use the socket
functions of Xerces. We load XML
files through the filesystem only. That's sufficient, since the
filesystem on VxWorks is anyway a
network filesystem (in our case).
