http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=12369 invalid output from DOMWriter using MemBufFormatTarget ------- Additional Comments From [EMAIL PROTECTED] 2002-09-30 11:13 ------- PeiYong, It's more an aesthetic thing, consistency in the character escaping, rather than anything else since the parser does handle a ">" in the input text of an attribute. It just seems odd that you can have the ">" in an attribute value, but not "<" or "&", which have to be escaped. I can accept that there is this exception to the rules of character escaping, but it is a bit disconcerting when you see the output with a ">" and don't remember about this exception. -Dean --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
