Thanks Denny for your reply i didn't read the POSA-Book(s) but i will now that you mention them. When i find a suitable pattern newsgroup i will post there instead. It seems to me that for example Singleton is also a simple (if not simpler) desing patter which is mentioned in GoF-Book. Oh well, will keep looking...
