Prasad, Please be sure to read (and follow) the build instructions here: http://xml.apache.org/xerces-c/build-other.html#Mac Note that if you simply mounted or copied files from your windows machine to your mac machine, you may have run into an issue of conflicting line ending formats. When i double click on the error another window opened with info showing "#include "/Symbian Tools Port/Xerces-New/Xerces/xerces-c-2_6_0/Projects/MacOS/ProjectBuilder/XercesLib/xerces_prefix.h"   Can any body tell me why i have got this error ?
