Neil and Elena make very good points that should be fixed before this specification goes any further. But I wonder if the points that were raised are indicative of a deeper problem.
Andy, since you are the ASF rep to JSR-173, can you take this feedback to the expert group? I'm concerned that it is very close to a final approval ballot to be raising these concerns. Neil and Elena, did your concerns get voiced via IBM's rep to JSR 173?
If the feedback has been ignored by the expert group, we can make a case for the ASF to vote no on the JSR, but if we haven't done a good job in
making timely feedback we may have lost our chance. If we want an ASF no vote, the proper venue is [EMAIL PROTECTED]
