Sealing Violation When Trying to Instantiate a DOMParser in Servlet

Sorry if this has been asked here before, but the archives seem to be 
inaccessible...

I'm getting a "Sealing Violation" error when I try to instantiate a 
DOMParser (org.apache.xerces.parsers.DOMParser) in a Tomcat servlet. I 
checked the manifests and could not find any sealed jars. Did anybody else 
see this before?
