Is there a way to make the parser just skip/ignore invalid characters and continuie with parsing ?!

No. The file is malformed. The processor will give up and stop parsing it. This is one of the fundamental rules of XML. Whatever process is producing the malformed data should be fixed. By the time it gets to the parser, it's too late.
