Are you sure > our outputs are the same? Yes. Kerning typically works in the "negative" direction. Without kerning, the distance between those two glyphs would be much larger. Kerning reduces the distance, i.e. moves the Serbian "b" to the LEFT, but in XeTeX, it moves too much to the left.
