A good way of doing the translation is to do it through po files. Your
editor still is better than Lotte in Transifex.
If you combine it with the tools from here, which will make logical

Yeah, therefore you can msgmerge the po (if there are translations) or
pot files or master with the translated po file of the 4.8 branch. The
resulting po file can be uploaded to master. That will give you a head
start of 4.10, the relative few new strings can be translated with the
online translation tool.
