OS: RedHat Beta (Phoebe) Area: Xlib Server: XFree86 (The XFree86 4.x server) Description: If a Unicode locale is used then the dead_key+space combination does not work for producing the non-dead equivalence (i.e. dead_tilde+space -> asciitilde). If however the same program is restarted with the C locale it works fine. Repeat By: LANG=sv_SE.UTF-8 xterm try to type dead_tile+space for producing a tilde. nothing is returned. LANG=C xterm now do the same thing.
