Been trying to get
this configuration working - so far, no luck.
I am able to get the
X running and have had it running at 1600x1200 resolution. The problem is the
refresh rate - the screen flickers
Working with a Dell
Latitude laptop, 1.8GHz / 1GB RAM
Has a Radeon 7500
video card. Using a SUN OEM monitor model GDM 5010PT. The tube model is Sony
365-1383-01.
I have been playing
with the X config files and modifying the Hori/Vert rates but when X starts up
it seems to have no effect on the rates on the monitor.
Initial research I
have done indicate that the monitor is a multisync - so why can't I adjust the
sync rates?
