Hi Team, I started installation, but before GUI screens comes, this message appears Probing for video card : S3Trio64V2(Generic) Probing for Monitor type : Unable to Probe Attempting start Native X Server Waiting for X Server to start.. log located in /tmp/X.log 1...2...3...4... Then a screen flashes but i see a linned screen, unable to see what exatly what it is. Then a screen with PCQUEST written on it appears. With follows installation process. After video card selection, Monitor selection screen comes, It doesn't detect any monitor, I Selects Unprobed Monitor. My monitor is LG Studioworks 440Si. I select LG Studioworks 440Si and manually enters Horizontal frequency i,e 30khz-48khz and vert freq. i.e 50khz-90khz. In next screen for resolution selection I tested it with all combinations. After test it doesn't show any screen. I skipped X configuration. And used redhat-config-xfree86, then it shows this message ddcprobe returned bogus values : ID: None Name: None HorizSync:None NoneVertSync:None After long time, nothing happens. I cancel it using CTRL C. Then i run startx to Start X sever, it shows this message(i.e. From Log file) (EE) Unable to locale/open configfile (EE) Error from xfreeHandleConfigFile() Fatal Server Error: no screen found But X Server works fine with REDHAT Linux 7.3. I have IBM6x86mx processor, 64 RAM, Zida's TX98-3D Maotherboard, LG Studioworks 440Si, S3Trio64V2 with 2MB RAM video Display card.
