I am runnning Caldera 3.1 Open linux which is running XFree86-4.1-13. This does not seem to configure the above two cards ( ATI rage 128 and radeon) so I downloaded the binaries for the glibc2.2 which was the version advised by Xinstall -check. and installed this over the top of the existing X versions

However when I came to run xf86cfg to configure xf86config no ATI graphics cards were offered whatsoever the only drivers starting with a are apm AP6422 apm AT24 apm AT30 ark ark1000pv ark ark2000mt ark ark2000pv it also complains that it is not finding libglide2x.so If I run XFree86 -configure it also complains about missing glide and the file it produces fails. Any hints about what I am doing wrongly would be most welcome.
