Except that as far as I know, DRI supports only up to R250 Radeons, not R300 or above. So the best Radeon with Open Source drivers is a 9200 (or similar). I think that an R250 Radeon will give the highest possible 3D performance with open source drivers. -- Bill Gallafent.
