Well, yeah, that's all right. It means that it runs and have two collections, /db/meta and /db/system. Now, if it is running ok on http://localhost:8080/xindice/, I don't understand why command

   xindice ac -c xmldb:xindice://localhost:8080/db -n test

does not work. It sure works ok for me, I just tried it now with CVS version. May be you should turn on TRACE level on the client and server, and then some exception will show up?

Well, and what do you see when you "click" on link?

Vadim

Hello Upayavira,
i tried command line xindice ac -c xmldb:xindice://localhost:8080/db -n

test

This command is working for me.

(xmldb is necessary) and always i receive this message:

[DEBUG] DatabaseImpl - -Using Sax Driver: 'xerces'
[DEBUG] DatabaseImpl - -Using Service Location: '/xindice'
[DEBUG] CollentionImpl - -Using URL: http://localhost:8080/xindice/
ERROR: Collection not found

I haven't modified anything in the standard configuration:
"db" collection directory is under $TOMCAT_HOME/xindice/WEB-INF/
i haven't modified "system.xml" file.

Can you verify that your xindice server started up ok? Go to
http://localhost:8080/xindice/ using browser. You should see "UGLY DEBUG
TOOL", click on the link, you should see list of collections.

And, what xindice version you are using?
