:-)

Hello chaps,

I think you are not going to like me much but
here it goes :

I was tinkering around on my xmail box when I
discovered that the box never actually had a
valid domainname, once you got to type the
"domainname" command on the shell. So I went
ahead, thinking "this is the problem it
doesn't do the mail forwarding thingy" and
typed :

# domainname non-valid-name.domain.org <enter>

So I did a "domainname" <enter> to find that
it actually worked.

So I stopped and started the xmail box (just in
case) and tried to send a message through
smtp syntax.

Did that, didn't receive anything and went
ahead to check what went wrong; so I tried
to telnet to the admin port. Here is the
result :

-----------------------------------
root@jeckyl:~# telnet . 6017
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to ..
Escape character is '^]'.
-00140 Server does not like Your IP
Connection closed by foreign host.
-----------------------------------

Admittetly, something went wrong but as God
my witness, the only change I did is what
I described above.

Any ideas ??

Cheers,

s.
