Davide,

I started XMail in debug mode.
I can see it delivers all the mail that were in the "mess" spool directories
with the lines
SMAIL local SMTP = "platine" From =

Lets say that my XMail server is on ip 212.x.y.13 (with nameservers from
itself, and the local provider)
Let's say that one client is on ip 62.x.y.142 (with nameservers from this
provider)
DNS master for my domain is setup on 212.x.y.13 and there is a MX record
pointing also to another reference for 212.x.y.13
I have access to ths DNS settings and the changed are more than 72 hours.
nslookup shows the correct MX.

I can send mail from a remote host, using sendmail, it connects directly
(using MX) from 62.x.y.142 to 212.x.y.13.
I can see this in the debug file
SMTP client connection from [62.x.y.142]
What I don't understand is the lines close to the previous ones:
Hostname a.root-servers.net
SMTP client connection from [62.x.y.142]
Hostname C.DNS.tw
SMTP client exit [62.x.y.142]
Hostname c.twnic.net.tw
Hostname b.twnic.net.tw
Hostname sun1.ncu.edu.tw
Hostname im.mgt.ncu.edu.tw
Hostname ns.mgt.ncu.edu.tw
Hostname im.mgt.ncu.edu.tw
Hostname ns.mgt.ncu.edu.tw
<<
ErrCode   = -5
ErrString = Timeout error
As I don't send any email to Taiwan, but to my domain!

Can I see somewhere in the code all the domains that are considered as local
domains ?
Am using several domains (over 10).
Can I use a file to force the domains considered as local domains ?

What are the rules to deliver the mail as local mail (when it is in folder
"mess").
It seems the behaviour is different at startup than at execution ?

These lines come from the SMAILSvr.cpp
there is a list MDomIsHandledDomain constructed with pszFQDN
there is only one value for this on my system.
