As for Windows, it is to the OS to select the outgoing interface, and = it seems linux acts as windows, take the first 'lowest' ip ?
Don't know, if on linux (or windows, or freebsd, ...) a program can = tell the os to use THIS ip for outgoing connexions. In your case, why not simple add a rdns record for ip 1 ?
