AFAIK it is only Yahoo Groups that does no resend and requires xnet or white list. In any event, if they do not resend on a 4xx they are likely to lose mails whenever the recipient is busy for whatever reason, besides glst, and besides breaking RFCs. And yes, glst seems to be the ultimate solution against mail viri: I have hardly seen any virus hitting my server since using glst, and the very few come with DSNs to forged senders or from legitimate servers without an (updated) AV. Unfortunately glst seems to be ineffective against phishers: they systematically retry and bypass it, and need be blocked by other means.
