Since posting my previous query, I have set-up an MX record to point to my
server, but every incoming email is being bounced with the following error:

>

> server:
> [EMAIL PROTECTED]; Failed; 5.3.0 (other or undefined mail system status)

My understanding is that 551 means recipient is not local but [EMAIL PROTECTED]
is a valid user (bainb.com is set as an alias of bainb.co.uk).

Local mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] works perfectly.

I'm sure this is some sort of configuration error, but again I can't see it.

Gary.
