No, I still don't understand what you're trying to say.  I can
choose between either method of Xvideo support, 'on the card'.

I'm sorry, I thought the question was how this might be useful
to XMAME.  Yes, there is it right up there, 11 lines above.  I
thought I'd answered that, but didn't realize that we'd need a
precedent to be allowed to support this magic extension that's
only useful for video playback.
