even though the makefile isn't really that painful, I'd much prefer a 
hand-holder... especially because I'm such an autoconf slave. :)

I could whip up a "make xconfig" sort of setup if someone was interested 
it adding it to Xmame. :)
tho I might ask a few questions along the way. :)
